OLG is going greener
Our Lady of Guadalupe School is trying to preserve the environment by using less and recycling more. We are moving toward having all of our newsletters and announcements available online to save paper and trash. We have blue recycling bins in each classroom for paper and now, we are recycling our print cartridges for cash. This will help our environment and our school.

Each of our classrooms has a printer, along with the library, the computer lab, the school office and the administrators' offices. This adds up to a substantial investment in print cartridges. We have been recycling our cartridges for years but not as a serious fundraising effort. That is changing this year as we attempt to offset more of our costs for our technology program.
You can help!

Please place print cartridges in a baggy and send them to Mrs. Manzo in the Computer Lab. She will box them up and send them out to be recycled and the school will receive cash.

We will be using "Empties4Cash" to recycle our cartridges and they accept all cartridges with printheads from Canon, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, and Dell.  If you are not sure that your cartridges have printheads - check out this link: Printheads? If you have other model printers or cartridges without printheads we can recycle the cartridges but we do not get cash for them.

Help the environment and help our school.
Please DO NOT send toner cartridges at this time.
We just received our second check from Empties4Cash! $73.70! We have received $122.70 so far. Thanks to all who donated their empty inkjet cartridges. Keep 'em coming!
