I loved reading your thoughts. You were my 5th grade teacher at St. Marys in Whittier wayyyy back when. I remember I always used to love looking at your long beautiful nails. You were one of the nicest teachers I ever had. I remember your mom passed away while you were my teacher and the class attended the funeral. I felt so bad cause you looked so sad that day. Anyway just wanted to say hello and I am so glad you were my teacher.. Love, Lorraine...:)

Dear Lorraine,
I actually remember you quite clearly! I actually think that you were in my 4th grade class the first year I ever taught! I continued to teach for 30 years before getting my Masters in Administration. It is quite a ride being a Principal. I would love to hear more from you. What are you doing, where do you live etc.
By the way, I am like the Velveteen Rabbit...my lifestyle now does not usually allow the luxury of manicures and long nails.
